Aurotech and Disco Corporation recently concluded the Disco Technology Seminar at the Alabang Golf & Country Club Ballroom last August 11, 2006. The whole day event kicked off with a welcome speech from the newly appointed Operating Officer and concurrent General Manager for Overseas Sales of Disco Corporation, Mr. Noboru Yoshinaga. Topics discussed ranged from backgrind to package singulation and the latest innovations in laser technology.

The attendees of the seminar were engineers from different semiconductor companies namely: Allegro, Amkor (P1, P2), Analog Devices, Atmel, Cirtek, Cypress, Fairchild, Fuji Electric, Infiniti Solutions, International Rectifier, Lite-On, M.A. Tech, Maxim, On Semiconductor, Philips Semiconductors, PSI Technology and Rohm.

After the seminar, the participants enjoyed a night of drinking and dancing as they jived to the beat of a live band. A participant from Maxim rendered a couple of songs to the delight of the crowd.
